PERIGUEUX

Since 1983 in the summer, the city of Perigueux (FR) hosts the mime-festival: MIMOS, the theatre company SPINA was invited there to perform it’s paly Mio. This play tells the story of a painting bear that will be helped by a group of kids to escape from a ranger and will show them how painting on walls can became magic. SPINA company invited me to be the painting bear. While there I painted a bear dream on the walls of a retirement-house where part of the show was played.

During autumn 2019 in Stigliano (MT) I participated to the AppARTengo festival.
The work I realized is called The Night Eaters. Dominated by the red Kite (Milvus milvus) the skies of Stigliano where really windy and cold, it took a little longer than usual but in the end everything was done, also thanks to the great company of the organizers, photographers and friends of the festival.

VOLOS

In the summer of 2019 I went to the “CityCall” festival, organized by UrbanAct in the city of Volos in Greece. The myth says that from Volos Jason and the Argonauts left to look for the Golden Fleece in Colchis. Instead on this school’s wall I painted in the attic red-figure style the myth of the origin of the Horse of the vase, a lost story of storms, deceit and courage, where a horse become his own myth.

HARLAN

ANGERS

Spring 2018 I was invited to Angers by the curator Eric Surmont (Winterlong gallerie) to participate to the urban project Echappées d’art. The medieval city of Angers hosts the Apocalypse Tapestry, a weaved version of the apocalypse of St. John of incredible features and size. I deliberately took inspiration to paint my murals, the two walls are one the exact continuation of the other… to be continued sometimes, somewhere.

MASULLAS

In Spring 2017 I was invited to Street Art Masullas in Sardinia IT. Before the festival I spent some days in Cabras looking for Flamingos in the “Pond”, the colours of this wonderful island inspired my painting.
